CURRENT TECH

If there is one subject, we pride ourselves in other than our restoration abilities, it is our ability to evolve. Over the years as technology has become increasingly widespread, SERVPRO has taken major steps to utilize its availability. Our franchise is proud to take part in the use of our completely digital intake & recording system. Using this system daily makes multitasking easy and working on the go easier. As we grew and learned, this technology became the HUB of everything SERVPRO that we do. New features are added, and existing features are tweaked so that this system continuously makes not only our jobs easier, but the service process for our clients seamless. Everything from the office end experience; dealing with paperwork and payments, to the on-field experience where our clients are seeing the fruition of these benefits through performance.

MORE TECH

In addition to our unique SERVPRO only system, we have implemented other efficient ways of serving our clients. For our out of state, and always on the go customers, a digital signing method is always an option. This enables us to get documentation to anyone, anywhere, anytime via email.

Making a payment with SERVPRO of Buckeye & West Surprise/ Wickenburg is also just as easy. After going over the payment process, digital invoices are sent for services and clients have the opportunity to pay at any point in time from wherever they are via credit, debit, EFT, and even Apple Pay.

NEW TECH

Along with this acclaimed system designed specifically for SERVPRO restoration servicing. SERVPRO of Buckeye & West Surprise/ Wickenburg is proud to announce the inclusion of  DocuSketch™ into our restoration process.

What is DocuSketch™ & why are we using it, is what most of our clients will wonder.

It all begins with a single camera, but not just any camera. This special camera is built with two, 180 degree lenses on both sides. This camera allows a technician to record 360 degree panoramic view of an entire room in mere seconds. The technician has the ability to scan each room of a home or building within minutes. These pictures are then translated to a tour & an exact sketch of the property. During the restoration process we can create multiple tours to compare as before, during, and after comparisons for our clients. These tours can be shared via a link to our clients especially those who are out of state and inclined on progression updates.

This is proficiency for restoration at its finest for us. We are so glad to be able to offer any new or existing customers this option for their upcoming project. This addition to our documentation process will not only make it easier for our team but put more valuable time on the table to get your project done, especially when it comes to large loss scenarios.

We look forward to serving all of our cleints with this amazing tech!

SERVPRO Duct Cleaning Services

12/1/2021 (Permalink)

NIKRO DUCT CLEANING SYSTEM Brand new, intense power, high quality duct cleaning system.

If you have a modern-day HVAC & duct system in your home, you’re probably very aware of how important it is to your everyday life. You trust it to circulate warm air in the winter months from the heater, and cold air from the cooling system in the summer, which brings consistent comfort.

Unless you keep windows and doors open often, you’re most likely circulating the same air through the system that occupants continuously breathe in. Many people don’t realize this, and as the years build up so does dust, and other contaminants.

Our highly anticipated NIKRO Duct Cleaning machine raises the bar on other local providers. The entire package is specifically designed for SERVPRO to accommodate all sizes of systems for commercial & residential properties. Our gorgeous 5,000 CFM duct cleaning machine is powered by a Rolair compressor with a 9 HP Honda engine; accessorized with rotary brushes, compressor powered nozzles, and a 99.97% 3 stage HEPA filtration system. This is true SERVPRO style.

Let’s get back to some of the benefits that a duct cleaning may bring to you.

  • Overall, a professional SERVPRO duct cleaning service will reduce the amount of interior cleaning to maintain a healthy home. Have you ever noticed a layer of dust build up on a surface right after you have already cleaned? It may be that those particulates have built up in your system and are now being blown onto your everyday items such as furniture, flooring, and bedding.
  • Although dust is of viewable size; air ducts may also contain other harmful contaminants such as pet dander, mold spores, pollen, and other bacteria.
  • Your ducts may also be home to absorbed odors from cleaning chemicals, pets, tobacco, or smoke, food preparation, mold, and paint fumes. Any consistent odors you may be smelling might be circulating through your home whenever you run your system.
  • A heavy build-up of dust and other contaminants can assist in restriction air flow through the duct system. This means your system may have to work harder to circulate air though your home, resulting in a decreased level of system efficiency. A professionally cleaned system will help operate at peak efficiency and provide the most cost-effective performance.

Our professionals all agree our new service will bring our clients peace of mind to the quality of their living. We don’t recommend duct cleanings as a routine part of maintenance, but a professional recommendation is always available without any push; a business owning client may prefer this service regularly when dealing with high amounts of in and out customers, or in restaurants.

Don’t be afraid to give us a call, send us an email, or submit a request form through our website with your questions. The professional advice is free; we would love to assist and would appreciate helping you in your journey.

Cooktops Are Top Culprits in Cooking Fires

11/18/2021 (Permalink)

Stovetop Fire Stovetop Fire Aftermath

As the holiday season approaches, local SERVPRO fire restoration specialist offers stovetop safety tips for home cooks

From 2014 to 2018, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) reports* that U.S. fire departments were called to an estimated average of 172,900 home structure fires related to cooking each year. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the number of home fires caused by cooking peaks to an average of 470 fires each day.

“These fires are tragic because they result in property damage, displacement of families, injury, and even death,” says fire damage restoration specialist Nicholas Leier of SERVPRO of Buckeye & West Surprise/Wickenburg. “The thing that compounds the tragedy, though, is that there are some simple steps everyone can take to reduce the chance of a cooking fire.” Nicholas urges homeowners to consider these basic guidelines for cooking safety:

  1. Never leave food unattended on a range or cooktop. That’s where 61 percent of home cooking fires start.
  2. Never cook on the stove top when you are sleepy or intoxicated.
  3. Use a timer to remind yourself that you are cooking.
  4. Keep anything flammable – potholders, wooden utensils, towels, curtains, food wrapping – away from the stovetop.

If you must leave the kitchen for any period, turn off the stove.

Holiday parties and large family gatherings that were postponed last year because of COVID concerns are great to look forward to, but may add distraction in the kitchen, warns Nicholas. “Cooking is such a routine part of our days that it is easy to become complacent about these basic safety steps,” says Nicholas, “but the statistics show that unattended cooking is the number one cause of home cooking fires and casualties.

Whether you are cooking for the holidays or simply preparing an everyday meal, it is important to stay alert and focused on what’s happening on and around your stovetop.”

Rain & Roof Damage Affecting Your Home?

9/17/2021 (Permalink)

Roof Tarping When an afterhours call came in; our technicians were on site to tarp a damaged roof to prevent further damage

Noticing that your ceiling or other parts of your home are leaking water is usually the most noticeable sign your roof may have damage.

This is a specific moment our team takes action. Clients call SERVPRO for our help, and we are always available when these types of situations occur. We may be prepared to fully tarp your roof, board up any intrusions, or extract any standing water in your home. We refer to this as mitigation; lessening the extent of damage that may occur, and lessening the stress of our clients.

Other clients of ours may notice discoloration, warping, or even mold growth; where there may be an active leak that is not as noticeable.

These are all examples of water damage.

Our next step would be to get another professional such as a roofer on site to fix the damaged area, so that the damage does not continue; our roof tarping's, board ups, and extractions are only temporary.

We are happy to announce to clients our partnership with many insurance companies. We work hand in hand with many major carriers to help you receive coverage.

If anyone is experiencing current damage, or has questions regarding water damage; we always have answers or solutions.

Give us a call today!
